Food at James Marks Academy
Packed Lunches
Please ensure your child is provided with a packed lunch. We would recommend they have a healthy balanced meal, for example:

A sandwich

A piece of fruit

A cereal bar and/or fruit yoghurt
We do not allow crisps, chocolate or sugary food and drinks, which includes fruit smoothies.
If these items are included in your child’s lunch box, we will return them.
Lunches must not include any products containing nuts, to avoid severe allergic reactions from others.
Free School Meals
If your child is in receipt of Free School Meals, you will receive vouchers.
If your child moves within an academic year within a Hertfordshire School you will need to phone 0300 1234048 and update the free school meals team.
If your child arrives at James Marks Academy having previously been in a school outside of Hertfordshire a new application is required telephone 0300 1234048.
